Incheon Airport to Seoul 2026: AREX vs Limousine Bus vs Taxi

Quick answer: Compare the airport train, a route-specific limousine bus and a taxi using your terminal, hotel address and arrival time. The AREX Express is not the cheapest train option: the All-Stop service is a separate alternative.

AREX Express or All-Stop?

The Express links the airport with Seoul Station using a reserved train ticket. The All-Stop service also serves intermediate stations, which can be more convenient if you are staying near Hongik University or another stop on the line. Add walking and onward transfers when comparing total travel time.

Check the current operator timetable for your terminal and travel date. We could not confirm the current full fare table through the official passenger site's accessible pages, so the old ₩4,150 all-stop fare and fixed Express price are no longer presented as verified fares.

If you miss a reserved Express, consult the operator or your seller about changes and refunds. We removed the unsupported universal missed-train penalty. Do not assume a third-party ticket follows the same modification process as a direct booking.

Airport limousine buses

A bus is convenient when its current stop is close to your hotel and it has room for your luggage. Check the airport's route information and the bus operator for the exact stop, terminal, fare and departure. A hotel with a familiar name may have more than one branch.

Purchase or reserve the correct ticket as instructed for that route. Transit-card acceptance, children's fares, family offers and luggage limits are operator-specific; there is no verified basis for the previous claim that every family receives a free adult ticket.

Road congestion can make the journey much longer than a timetable estimate. If you have an appointment after landing, allow time for immigration, baggage, ticket collection and traffic rather than counting only the bus ride.

Taxis and private transfers

Use the official taxi queue or a clearly identified licensed booking service. Confirm the destination in Korean, vehicle capacity and how tolls and any surcharges are calculated. Standard metered taxis, larger vehicles and prebooked transfers can have different pricing.

Compare the whole group's luggage as well as the number of passengers: a vehicle that seats four people may not fit four large cases. Request a suitable vehicle instead of assuming a standard taxi will hold everything.

Late-night arrivals

Check the last train and relevant night-bus timetable for the day you arrive. There is no single 11 p.m. cutoff covering all airport transport. Have a taxi or overnight-airport-area plan if your flight is delayed.

Before you leave the arrivals hall

Our Tmoney guide covers local transit after you reach the city. We do not claim that Google Maps has no Korean transit information; features and coverage differ between apps.
